Mississauga, Ontario, Canada – Tuesday August 02, 2011 -  New book, Khadijah goes to School – A story about You…, is universal, and empowering.  In one word, this book is about contribution: personal contribution, contribution to others, and contribution to society. It is a device designed to share identities and experiences, spark curiosity and discussion.  A young girl, Khadijah, learns about the lessons of education and life, namely, life is: helping yourself and helping other people™.

Diversity is a key element in this project. This is reflective by way of her teacher and classmates from different faiths, as well as various creative elements at play.

The making of Khadijah goes to School involved hundreds of people from educators to students.  Author, Asim Hussain wanted to ensure this book had value, “because this book is a contribution to Canada and every other nation.”
